Kurt Denzel

Mr. Denzel is a 67 year old native of Illinois and a graduate of Greenville College with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics.

Mr. Denzel spent twelve years working for a consulting engineering firm in central Illinois where he became both a Registered Professional Engineer and a Registered Land Surveyor in Illinois.

Prior to being transferred to Florida in 1986, Kurt worked for six years with S. M. Wilson and Company, the parent company of Carl A. Nelson Company. As a project manager for S.M. Wilson some of the projects under his direction included a $22 mm hospital in Paducah, Ky., a $8 mm hospital expansion in Quincy, Ill., a $4 mm sewage treatment plant in Hannibal, Mo., and numerous $1 mm – $5 mm projects in Illinois.

Kurt is a Class A Florida General Contractor and is the license qualifier for Canco.

He is also a member of the Egypt Shrine, and active in the Lutheran Church.

Projects completed by Kurt as Project Manager include the eight million dollar, 60,000 square foot Toyota of Tampa Bay Dealership completed in 2005, a $3.6m Mercedes Benz of Tampa Dealership, a $5 mm Lincoln Mercury Dealership in Clearwater, over $3m in various projects at Ball Container Corporation in Tampa, a $2m elementary school on the Seminole Indian Reservation in SE Florida, numerous churches in the Tampa Bay Area, along with many smaller but equally important projects.

At Canco, Kurt is involved with the analysis of overall operations, strategic planning, and for estimating and project management of specialty projects.
